A Man with Empathy

Professor Eddy Omolehinwa was a parent to my then student at King's College about a quarter of a century ago who was well behaved and bright showing evidence of good parenting.

There was this reversal of role (year I cannot remember) in which I was his student in Cost Accounting Class at the University of Lagos. He taught well. He was simple and nice.

Only recently, much after he got his Doctorate and later still his professorship, our paths crossed again. You see evidence of humility, transparency, honesty and forthrightness. He has empathy, ready to give even unsolicited advice.

I want to believe he is a family man and religious too. So we expect him now, to freely lay bare his experience and personality to the good of all and sundry. More importantly move closer to Jesus so He would by His Blood open the Door for him on that D Day. Then it would be more than worth it passing this way and ending it at Jesus I love you. The LORD bless you and keep you. The LORD make His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you. The LORD lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.

Warm regards and Best wishes
